The death has occurred of Breda Murray (nee Anderson), originally from Coolbawn and resident of Coventry,UK. Sister of Hannie,Chrissie, Donal and Paddy. Survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Funeral in Coventry on 24th March. Sympathy to all bereaved.

Michael (Mike) Buckley (Gurtavalla, Doon, Co. Limerick, formerly of Glengar & Main Street, Doon) March 5th 2026, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

 

Predeceased by his parents Mike and Josephine and his brothers James, Jack, Bill and Chris.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Michael, Pat, Jimmy and Tadhg, daughters Siobhán Kinane, Anne Hayes, Molly Maher and Mairéad English, sons-in-law Nickie, John, Paul and Martin, daughters-in-law Pauline, Daizi and Clarice, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and all his friends from the greyhound community.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home, Doon (V94 D450) Friday evening (6th March) from 4 pm until 7 pm. Arriving in St. Patrick’s Church, Doon Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am followed by burial in Doon cemetery.

Martin Breen (Lisowen, Doon, Co. Limerick & formerly of Ballysheedy, Annacarty, Co. Tipperary) February 17th 2026, peacefully at the Woodlands Nursing Home Dundrum.

 

Predeceased by his wife Betty (nee Meskell) and his brothers & sisters Mary Buckley, Michael, Daniel, Emma O’Ryan and Margaret Richardson.

 

Sadly missed by his brother-in-law Patsy Richardson, sister-in-law Rose Breen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

Rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Doon (V94 D450) Thursday evening (19th February) from 5.30 pm with removal at 7 pm to St. Patrick’s Church Doon. Requiem Mass Friday at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Doon cemetery.


William (Bill) Keogh

Peacefully, after a long illness at the Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by his daughter Mairead, his parents John Joe and Josie (Josephine), his brother John and sister Mary Hartnett. Sadly missed by his loving daughters Siobhan and Hayley, his son Sean and grandson Tommy, his brothers Eddie, Tom, Pat and Gerard, his sisters Bernie and Josephine, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at his home in Knockhall on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rooskey, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilglass cemetery.
